Description:

This Piper 250 Comanche has been owned by the same meticulous owners since 1991. It has a single piece windshield and three-point shoulder harnesses. N891MD has a tried and true higher time engine that is in excellent mechanical operating order and there are no signs of it needing a major overhaul in the near future. The compressions are excellent, there is very little oil consumption, and it runs as smooth as the day it was built.

One must recognize that the 250 horsepower Comanche is one of the best all-around four place aircraft ever made. Working in conjunction with the abundant horsepower, the LAMINAIR FLOW WING is the reason these “high powered,” 250HP+ Comanche aircraft are desired. In particularly, they really excel while operating in the mountains because of their climbing ability with heavy loads.

This aircraft is based in a private hangar at the Camarillo Airport (KCMA). It is located only 45 minutes north of Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX), or Burbank (KBUR). It is ready for purchase with the recent annual inspection completed in September, 2017.

This is a must see and FLY aircraft!

To answer your questions to the best of my knowledge, this aircraft does not have an autopilot installed. There is an Altimatic autopilot that was purchased on EBAY for this aircraft, however, the current owners have not inventoried all of the parts and also decided that it was not of interest to them to have it installed. With the parts that are included, you may be able to go to an autopilot shop like Autopilot Central in Oklahoma City to have it installed. They have overhauled units that they can exchange and install.

The complete log books from new are not digitized. We are available most anytime to have you inspect and review.

The stabilator AD is due at 4486.7 hours Total Time, or 62.7 hours from now.

The landing gear AD has 391.05 hours until the next inspection (4,815.05 TT). The 1000 hour AD is due in 895.68 hours (5,319.68 TT).

I was told that for full asking price, the current owners will do a fresh compliance on both AD's.
