Instructions for Completing the Young Biometrics Investigator Award

Endorsement Form

To the Endorsers of Young Biometrics Investigator Award Nominee:

Your name has been listed as an endorser for a nomination of the individual named on this form for the YBIA of the IAPR. A copy of the completed Nomination Form should have been sent to you. To qualify as an endorser, you must be qualified to judge the technical contribution cited in Item 6 of the Nomination Form.

In completing items A and B of this form, please keep in mind that the YBIA is to be given in recognition of a technical contribution of far-reaching significance and impact on the field of Biometrics by a young investigator under 40 years of age on 1st April 2017.

Your description of the significance and impact of the technical contribution must be based on factual data and objective observations;glowing generalities will carry little weight.

In completing this form, please keep in mind that the YBIA is to be given in recognition of a technical contribution of far-reaching significance and impact on the field of Biometrics at any time in the past.

The information on the Nomination Form should not be repeated word for word on this Endorsement Form since that would place in question the endorser’s ability to judge the technical contribution.

Please complete this form at your earliest convenience, and send it by email to the point of contact on the YBIA Committee at the address below. Nominations for the YBIA will not be eligible for consideration by the Prize Committee unless the Endorsement Forms from at least three of the listed endorsers (among whom you are included) are received by the Prize Committee no later than August15th2017.
