SUPPLIER - CRATE RETURN TO LOGTEK

Return Instructions

If you are returning crates in either TOWNSVILLE or TASMANIA - DO NOT USE THIS FORM.

You need a DIFFERNT FORM (there are different instructions for these sites). You can download that form from our website –

For crate returns to all other Logtek locationsplease follow these steps:

  1. Are any of the crates contaminated or excessively dirty? If yes, then segregate these crates and clearly mark them with “Contaminated” or “Extra Dirty”. If crates are contaminated, you must contact Logtek prior to the return so that we can prepare for them to be quarantined upon return.
  2. Perform a SAVI transaction to the local Coles DC to get the crates off your account
  3. If you are a Grower Account you will do a SAVI Checkin
  4. If you are a DC Account you will do a SAVI Transfer

Note: even though the crates are being returned to Logtek the SAVI transaction has to be done to the Coles DC because SAVI won’t allow you to transact crates to the Logtek RRU sites

  1. Complete the Form on Page 2 of this document
  2. Prepare two copies of the paperwork
  3. Return the crates to the Logtek Depot(except in Townsville & Tasmania) with the two copies of the paperwork (one copy can be signed and returned to the driver as a proof of delivery).

NOTE: if the crates are returned without the correct paperwork the Logtek depot may refuse to accept the crates and Logtek cannot guarantee that an appropriate credit claim can be processed for you.

DO NOT RETURN CRATES TO THE COLES DC

Important Information:

When the crates are returned to Logtek the local depot will inspect the crates and

  • verify the quantity of crates that have been returned
  • determine if any crates are damaged

All crates returned to Logtek are re-washed according to Logtek’s HACCP standards (even if they are still in their original pallet wrap).

Only unused crates are eligble for a credit. If the crates have been used (eg – have had produce in them or have been rejected at Coles DC); they can be still be returned to Logtek, but a credit claim will not be processed.

Provided the paperwork has been supplied, Logtek will raise a credit claim on your behalf and forward to Coles for processing. Coles will process a credit to you for the hire charge of each crate but will also charge you a wash fee for each crate (this is currently $0.40 per crate – but is subject to change by Coles).

The cost of transporting the crates back to Logtek is your (the grower/supplier) responsibility.

Any damaged crates will be reviewed on a case by case basis and you may be charged for these crates depending on the circumstances.

You should retain a copy of the paperwork for your records (to assist with account reconciliation during audits).
