THE POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS”

Ø  HEBREWS 10:15 (AMPLIFIED)
And also the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us (in confirmation of this)
No more offerings need to be made to atone for our sins. We will not be reminded of our sins.
Verse 11, 12: Furthermore, every (human) priest stands (at his altar of service) ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip (from every side of us) the sins (that envelop us) and take them away -Whereas this One (Christ), after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins (that shall avail) for all time, sat down at the right hand of God).

Verse 14: For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy).

Ø  HEBREWS 10:16 (AMPLIFIED)
This is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and conclude with
them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts and understanding)
* The Bible says that you should come as you are, where you can receive mercy and help from God.
* All the benefits of the cross that we enjoy, is because of one reason - the cross.

Ø  ISAIAH 40:1 (NIV)
Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
* We received a double payment from the hands of Jesus (an overpayment). The blood of Jesus is sufficient for us. The Bible says that His mercies are new every morning. (Lam. 3:22, 23).

o  The comfort that you receive is because of the blood of Jesus.

o  The Holy Spirit is touching and healing people because of the blood of Jesus.

o  Every promise that you will experience is because of the blood of Jesus.

Because of the blood of Jesus, even God will not remember your sins.
* Healing, wealth and prosperity is not because of your own deeds, it is for one reason only and that is His goodness and mercy that will follow you all the days of your life.

[Mercy = not getting what you deserve. Grace = getting what you do not deserve.]
* When you experience the Holy of Holies, it is because you can enter into the Holy of Holies because of the blood of Jesus.
* Someone asked an Evangelist “If the blood of Christ is so powerful, why is there so many sinners in the world?” The Evangelist answered: “There is so much soap in the world, why are there so many dirty people in the world? The people need to
learn how to use the soap.”
* Many healings take place because of the blood of Jesus, not because the hands of man.
* We overcome by the blood of the Lamb. The Church must receive the sacrifice that was made for us. There is protection, healing and provision in the blood.
* The blood of a lamb on the lintels of the door posts kept the enemy away (Ex. 12:7, 13), how much more will the blood of Jesus keep the devourer away from us.
* The empowerment of the Holy Spirit is here because of the blood of the Lamb.
* His grace and blood is sufficient for you.

Ø  1 PETER 1:18
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers.

o  All the silver and gold is not enough to purchase one soul, but the blood of Jesus is sufficient.

o  Your value is equal to the blood of Jesus.

o  His life will become your life and your life will become His.

o  Although we are valued by God, we fall into the trap of being valued by man and the enemy will try to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) what God has placed in you.

* Jesus took our shame on Himself so that we can lift up our heads and see new opportunities.

* At times, you accept you circumstances, however, your circumstances (the place where you are now) does not determine your value before God. The blood of Jesus Christ determines your life and value.

* God restores more than before, at least double. Jesus has shed His blood for us in order to restore our lives.

Ø  GALATIONS 4:4
But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under law……….

o  For 33 years, Jesus lived a life without spot or wrinkle.

o  John speaks about the Son of Man who takes away the sin of man (John 1:29).

o  Even though Jesus was tempted in every way, He did not sin because He had prepared Himself for us. He was the perfect sacrifice (Lamb without spot or wrinkle).

* Jesus shed His blood 7 times for us. (7 is the number of perfection)

1) In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus’ sweat became like blood.

o  Gen. 3:19 - “Through the sweat of your brow you will eat your bread” (curse received by Adam).

o  Restored by Jesus! You do not need to work hard, you need to work smart through the virtue of His blood.

o  “The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it” (Prov. 10:22)

2) When they plucked Jesus’ beard out.
His beard is speaking of His authority. He gave His authority to release the authority into our lives.

Ø  ISAIAH 50:6
I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out
my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.

3) When they hit Jesus in the face and the blood started to flow.
The face speaks of identity. Jesus gave us His identity. It is not I who live, but Jesus lives through me (Gal. 2:20).

4) They put a crown of thorns on His Head.

o  The last Adam (Jesus Christ) broke the curse of the first Adam by receiving the crown of thorns on His head.
(The curse: Gen. 3:17, 18 – “Cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow shall you eat of it all the days of your life; both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth to you; and you shall eat the herb of the field.”)

o  Today we accept that all is good, it is only good because a good God is for us and not against us.

5) They struck Jesus 39 times x 9.
This amount equals the total amount (351) of major/root diseases in the world. Yet, by His stripes we are healed. Jesus has shed His blood for our healing.

Ø  ISAIAH 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.

6) They put the nails through His hands and feet.

o  Blood of revelation. Every place you walk and go, you take it for Jesus. Wherever you go, Jesus is already there.

o  When you touch someone, it is not you that is touching them, it is Jesus. When you smile at someone, it is not you, but Jesus that is smiling at them. When you bless, it is not you but Jesus that is blessing.

o  When you pray for people out of compassion, it is not you - Jesus will be revealed through your life.

o  Jesus was rejected so that we can be accepted in the beloved (Math. 27:46).

o  Jesus said: “IT IS FINISHED” (John 19:30).

7) The spear that was pushed into Jesus’ right hand side (John 19:34).

o  His heart burst so that your heart can be healed. Jesus is the healer of broken hearts.

o  People have been pierced and hurt with words. Jesus knows your hearts and wants you to be healed.

o  Jesus’ yoke is easy and His burden is light (Math. 11:30).

* THE BIBLE SAYS THAT WE SHOULD GUARD OUR HEARTS ABOVE ALL THINGS… (Prov. 4:23)
