University of Notre Dame is hosting an information night onWednesday, September 14at Malvern Prep. See Sr. Jane in the Guidance office for more information.
ID PICTURES
ID pictures will be taken on Monday, September 12thfor the following students:
-all Juniors
-all incoming Transfers
-any Freshmen that did not have their ID picture taken during Freshman
Orientation
ID pictures will be taken during lunch periods. Students are reminded to ensure that you are cleanly shaven and your hair is neatly groomed.
NATIONAL HONORS SOCIETY Attenion Seniors and Juniors
Applications will be available in the Student Affairs Office beginningMonday, September 12th. Candidates must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 90% to be considered for selection as a member of the Thomas E. Cahill Chapter of the National Honor Society.

Congrats to our Varsity! They tied Chestnut Hill Academy 2-2 last Saturday. Senior Captain Matt Flanagan and Senior Michael Brown each scored a goal. Sophomore Jared Dillon had 2 assist.

WRESTLING
Work-outs, lifts and runs for the wrestling team will be held Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays beginning today. There will be a team meeting held before the first work out today in the cafeteria. If you’re doing a Fall sport but want to wrestle see Mr. Gault.
PHILLY SPORTS DIGEST JUNIOR REPORTER PROGRAM
Philly Sports Digest is looking for Junior reporters to help cover Roman athletics for their
magazine and website. This is a great opportunity for students interested in journalism and sports broadcasting. Duties of a Junior Reporter will include texting PSD all finals scores for games he is covering for that evening. Take photos/videos from the games of players, fans and pep rallies. Write short stories about players, teams, etc. You as a junior
reporter will have the freedom to find those special stories that go beyond the playing fields; stories that showcase the true team spirit of you high school. Whether it centersaround an individual athlete or team we will give you the freedom to develop ideas and create a story with our guidance. A meeting for anyone interested in becoming a PSD Junior Reporter will beheld on Tuesday, September 13th after 8th period in Rm. 52.
ADMISSIONS
Students who want to volunteer to represent Roman at High School Nights for service
hours should see Mr. Gault.
STUDENT COUNCIL
For any upper classman would like to serve as a Homeroom Rep, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14th after 8th period in Room 41.
MOCK TRIAL
There will be an organizational meeting for anyone interested in joining the mock trial team thisWednesday, September 14th, after 8th period in room 54. New members from all class years are welcome to come to the meeting and join the team. All new and returning members should plan on attending. Please see Mr. Pensabene with any questions about the team.
