RESEARCH AND TEACHING INTERESTS

At present, doing Market and Community research with Hispanic populations. Before, researched on Latin American cultural contradictions and beliefs, as promoters of adapted and unadapted behavior, and on comparative clinical psychology, interpreting the healing witchcraft as folkloric psychotherapy. Research included experimental design with advanced statistical analysis to field surveys, as well as focus groups in market research,community settings and Organizational Development.

Academically, developed a cognitive oriented line of research, applying social psychology theories to solving individual, community and social problems. Coauthor of the Venezuelan adaptation of the CPM tests (Cognitive, Perceptive, and Motor dysfunction in children).

As a teacher, mastered standard communication tools, DVDs and computer devices, as group dynamics andVisualization in Participatory Programs (VIPP) techniques. As a researcher, work with database systems such as Microsoft Access, Excel and SPSS.
