Activities:

Warm-Up SW Warm up review problems on blackboard.

ENGAGE SW Watch Ma and Pa Kettle Math clip http://nimitz49.wikispaces.com/Just+for+fun

TW Teacher will ask why the Kettles could not agree upon the solution.

EXPLORE TW have students pull the GSP Exploration geometric proofs instructions from teacher website

(Optional) SW complete the GSP exploration on geometric proofs on GSP and submit using bb link.

EXPLAIN TW discuss answers provided by students in explore and correct errors and connect statements with reasons. Provide additional information through ppt slides 3-19 for note taking.

SW make corrections to proof toolbox, complete proof toolbox, and take Cornell notes

ELABORATE TW model how to solve a proof from the angle proof packet

SW solve proof with teacher and continue working on their own for 4 remaining proofs
