Elementary Textbook Caravan Schedule

2004 K-6 Caravan

Reading, Language Composition and Grammar, Spelling,

and Handwriting

Local selecting committees, department chairs, curriculum supervisors, principals,

superintendents and other interested persons may attend the caravan location that is

nearest or most convenient for you. Formal presentations of the new state adopted

basal textbooks for language arts in grades K-6 will be made at each location. Registration will begin at 8:00am and conclude at 8:30am. Presentations will

begin at 8:30am and conclude at 2:30pm. There will be two presentations: one for

reading and one for language composition and grammar, spelling, and handwriting.

Note: Additional grade 6 state-recommended materials will be presented on the 6-12 language arts caravan to be held in the spring, 2005.
