PE Notes:
Please keep in mind the school dress code when picking out school clothes and send a jacket daily this weather is very unpredictable. Please send your child in tennis shoes as much as possible. Since the weather is getting nicer we may go outside to play games with Coach Fraizier and will be doing lots of traveling to the big school.
Backpack
Please bring your child’s backpack EVERYDAY!!!! Even on the last day of school we will be sending items home on the last day of school and a backpack will be very helpful when doing that.
Elem School Transition Activities:
We are coming to the end of the school year and it is time to start transitioning our little ones into kindergarten. We will be making a few changes to our daily routine to make it more like kindergarten. In the upcoming weeks during May we will be visiting the “special teachers” in their classrooms in the elementary school for art, music, counseling, library, and PE. We will even get to visit a KINDERGARTEN classroom for ½ a day in May. We will plan to each lunch in the cafeteria for the remainder of the school year as part of the transition as well.
PARENT DAY:
As part of our transition into Kindergarten activities we are inviting parents to come join us in the cafeteria on Wednesday, May 11th to eat lunch. We would like to show our parents how we have learned to be Safe, Responsible, and Respectful while at school. Please meet in the Preschool at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 11th(please plan to spend an hour with us we will have a small presentation of our preschool year in review before lunch).
(Please limit guests to one parent/ adult for each child. Please do not bring siblings seating/ space is limited. Thank you)
(Grandparent, aunt, or uncle may be substituted if parent is not able to attend.)
*****Please return the attendance slip for the Parent Day along with $1.95 for the lunch cost if you wish to attend by Thursday, May 5th. Please pay using exact change. ****
