Effective July 1st, 2003, State agencies purchase commodities and services only from vendors registered in this system. Please have the following information at hand to assist you with registration in the system:

  • If you are currently registered as a vendor in the Department of Management Services’ (DMS) vendor registration system (referred to as SPURS), you have a state-issued sequence and PIN number – this is required for MyFloridaMarketPlace registration. If unknown, it is available by contacting the MyFloridaMarketPlaceCustomerSupportCenter via phone at 866-352-3776.or via email at
  • Company name and contact information
  • Your tax ID number and type – Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Tax filing information – the business name on your 1099 tax form (if applicable). All payments issued by the State of Florida will remit to the official name that appears on your tax documents
  • Location Information:
  • A business name/location designation for each registered location (if separate from company name)
  • Complete address for each location (including details for sending purchase orders, payments, and billing information to each location)
  • A contact person for each location registered
  • DMS Class and Group numbers that describe the products and/or services you provide.   • Your Certified Minority Business Enterprises (CMBE) information

Part of the Vendor Registration activity includes a section on terms and conditions in which a vendor will accept an agreement to pay a 1% transaction fee on all agency purchases; effective as of July 1st, 2003.
