OVERVIEW

Born 1946, Melbourne, Eleanor Hart commenced painting over 50 years ago in 1963, as a student at Caulfield Technical College. Since then, Eleanor Hart also graduated from RMIT in 1975 before holding the position of Head of Department, Caulfield Institute of Technology, Monash University, until 1988. In additionto maintaining an extensive exhibition practice, Eleanor has studied and had residencies in Europe. In 2008 she was awarded membership of the National Gallery of Australia Foundation. Today Eleanor Hart is represented internationally as well as in major collections in Australia such as the National Gallery of Victoria.
