Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)

Core Department Timeline Task

First Semester Timeline Due August 25, 2009

Second Semester Templates are included for your reference.

Directions:

1.) Review the action plan in the SPSA

2.) Review and answer the “Guiding Questions” as a department. It may be a good idea for the Department Leaders (Chair, AP, Coaches, etc.) to review these questions at the weekly Department Leaders meetings BEFOREHAND.

  1. Answers to the Guiding Questions that require a person to do something should be listed on the “TO DO” list. These questions are highlighted in green.
  2. Answers to the Guiding Questions that require a date to be scheduled should be listed on the “CALENDARING” list. These questions are highlighted in yellow.

3.) Write the dates from the “CALENDARING” list on the Calendar Template

4.) Using the information you’ve compiled so far, complete the “PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TIMELINE” template.

REMEMBER: Professional Development Activities must be aligned with the SPSA.

5.) Turn in ONE copy of the “GUIDING QUESTIONS,” “TO DO LIST,” “CALENDARING” list, “CALENDAR,” and “PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TIMELINE” to the mail box of Lisa Peacock by the end of the day on August 25, 2009.

Soft Copy of this template available online at FoshayLC.org.
