Room #293

Dear Student and Family Supporter(s),

Welcome to Mrs. Laskowski’s Class and welcome to the Middle School! I am excited to have you in my classroom, and I hope you are looking forward to the coming year.

This is my nineteenth year as an educator. I have spent all of those years teaching at Edwardsburg Middle School. It is truly an exceptional place. My daughter, Morgan, is a freshman at Edwardsburg High School.

I will be team teaching in some classes this year and offering Resource class for all of my students.

Resource: Resource class is an opportunity to get small group and one-on-one re-teaching and/or remediation on deficit skills. Our main focus is to master those skills that make reading, writing and math a little more challenging. Some days students may have a little time to work on part of their homework, but most days students will not be able to finish homework during resource hour. Students should anticipate having homework many days during the week.

I look forward to working closely with you and your family this year.
