2001-2007: principal research assistant to professor John Tyrrell, Cardiff University - work with sources and other materials related to the life and works of Leoš Janáček (the result is the extensive two-volume biography "Janáček - Years of a Life")

2005- : academic member of the staff - „asistent“, ÚHV FF MU
