1996-2002: music expert of the Knihovna Jiřího Mahena public library in Brno, music department

2001-2007: principal research assistant to professor John Tyrrell, Cardiff University - work with sources and other materials related to the life and works of Leoš Janáček (the result is the extensive two-volume biography "Janáček - Years of a Life")

2005- : academic member of the staff - „asistent“, ÚHV FF MU

2001- : ÚHV, lectures and seminars for the students of musicology and cultural studies, subjects include Dmitry Shostakovich; Russian Music in the 19th and 20th Centuries; Art, Culture and Society in Czechoslovakia after 1945; Music in the Czech Lands)

1998: lectures and seminars on church, liturgical and sacred music for students of the Institute for Ecumenical Studies, Protestant Theological Faculty, Charles University in Prague
