Finalize 814 Advance Notice of Intent to Drop Implementation Guide

It was requested to add A77 (Name specified does not match the account) to the list of valid rejection reasons. It was agreed to add this rejection reason code.

Everyone else on the call either approved it or had no comments. The transaction will be finalized and sent as a FINAL version 1.0.

Duquesne is requesting that any supplier willing to test this functionality contact Duquesne.

Supplier’s obligation begins at midnight on a switch.

A question was asked how the utilities notify the supplier of the readings on an interval account for all time from midnight. For instance, if a meter is read at 3:00 am, how does the utility notify the supplier for the readings from midnight until 3 am?

-Duquesne – (Response posted to ListServer on 01/08/2001) - Duquesne's 867IU contains hourly details and our switches occur at midnight. Therefore, a supplier or POLR supplier is always responsible for full days.

-PPL currently provides this information via website, and provides the entire day’s worth of intervals. They are currently developing their EDI process.

-PECO will confirm their process, and post it to the ListServer.

-Allegheny is currently working on the 867 IU, and will respond to the List Server.

-GPU is still investigating, and will respond to the List Server.

Action Item: Each utility that has not already done so, will post their response to the List Server.

Changing of Transmission / Capacity Obligation

Updates from last week:

PPL comments:

-PJM would like the updates by December 1 of each year, but it is not a mandatory requirement.

-Due to current year reconciliation, PPL targets sending the changes to suppliers on approximately December 15.

PECO Competitive Discount Service

Their CDS process has begun. Letters were mailed to 20% of their customers. The initial selection criteria did not select any customers who were currently shopping.
