1) Call to Order at 6:23PM

2) Adoption of the Agenda (motion Mary-Jo/ 2nd Jodi)

3) Dara reviewed the minutes from the 2016 AGM

4) Treasurer Report

PAC Account = $5102.31 and Playground Committee Account = $16 767.35

Detail report tabled till October 16th PAC meeting

5) Playground Committee – looking for additional volunteers before proceeding with additional plans to help carry the work load

6)Elections:

Chairman & Vice Chairman positions will again be combined as “Co-Chairman”: Sheila S & Dara T

Secretary: Mary-Jo T

Treasurer: Cara G

Class Rep’s

Kindergarten- Grace C

Grade 1 – Lyndsay L

Grade 2 – Manuela S

All positions voted upon and carried!

7) Principal Noel gave school start up report – including announcing new ipads in each classroom (#’s dependent on class population), as well as new playground additions (Julie to arrange contact of Tri-Tec for potential concrete work). As well notified PAC of Deanna G’s offer to run camp fundraisers (ie- Halloween dance, hotdog and subway lunch fundraisers). Mary-Jo T (class Rep) will be in contact with Deanna)

8) Discussion on Hot Lunch Program (coordinator). Potential interest from the seniors in the community to run hot lunch. Lisa L to follow up with Seniors Coordinator Melissa Paradise, to see what they propose. Tabled till October 16th Meeting.

9) Discussion on potentially upgrading sound system equipment with PAC funds – Cara G to discuss ideas with Mme Noel, Mme Gillis, and M Combot. Will report back at Oct 16th Meeting – Tabled.
