Arriving at PVM
~ 8:30 / Not the fastest route but very pleasant: crosses AlexandraBridge (near ArtGallery), takesOttawa River bike path to TLC, then canal/bike path to Crémazie, and residential streets to PVM. (20to 30 minutes)

7:30am at South East side of ChamplainBridge
7:50am Arrive at PVM / Britannia Beach along the river then cross at Champlain bridge/Island Park, continue along the river until Plage Mousette, then up through Gatineau Park until Gamelin and then finally to PVM. It’s about 15-16km with some hills in Gatineau park. (An alternate flatter route can be taken if people want – talk to Eric at the meeting point). (~ 40 minutes)

~ 9 am / A pleasant bike ride down Island Park Drive, across the ChamplainBridge, following the bikepath along the Ottawa River, through GatineauPark, avoiding the last big hill, and a cool down along the streets behind PVM.

Arriving at PVM
~ 8:30 / Wellington west to Carleton Ave; north to River Pkwy bike path; east along path to Chaudière Bridge; across bridge to TLC; up Eddy to Wellington; around TLC to Montcalm; Montcalm to Saint-Joseph round abouts (keep your head up here!); through St. Laurent roundabout and left onto Dalpe up to Berri; right onto Berri all the way to Bourque then down to PVM parking lot. (30 mins)
Kate McKerlie / / Centretown - Gladstone & Bay (convene @ NHL statue – NW corner) / PVM (via TLC and nearby Cremazie) / Depart: 8:00am
Arrive at
~8:25 am / North along bike path on Bay, crossing Portage Bridge, over to TLC, along Rue Eddy – from there to Allumettieres (near CREM), along Rue Saint-Redempteur to Montclair, and finally St. Joseph (PVM). Route is ~ 4km and takes
~25 minutes depending on pace.

Arrive at
~8:50am / North on Bay Street to Wellington. Left on Wellington, crossing the PortageBridge. From the Quebec side of the PortageBridge, East along the Ottawa River bike path all the way to Fontaine.

Depart: 7:30am from Esso Station parking lot
8:15 – 8:30am arrive at PVM / We will take the bike path north along Woodroffe, then travel east down Grenfell Crescent to Merivale, take MacFarlane east to Prince of Wales, where we will (maybe) collect others at the corner Esso station. From Hunt Club, we will take Prince of Wales to Dow's Lake, then make our way across Carling to Preston Street, and cross the river at the ChaudièreBridge. Continue up Eddy street to Montclair, and then arrive at PVM.
~19 km in all; more than an hour for first-time; just one hour with experience.

Arriving at PVM at 8:00 am / Pretoria bridge, north along canal (west side), cross to east side at UofO, past the US Embassy (watch for snipers and counter-intelligence), rattle your way over the Alexandra bridge, along the bike paths of Gatineau, take a gamble behind the casino and head for the showers at PVM.

Arriving 8:00 am / Wellington W. east to Holland Ave; south through Tunney’s to Ottawa River Pkwy bike path; cycle east along path to Booth St. @ War Museum, cross at pedestrian lights; turn left and head across Chaudière Bridge; left at Tache (stay on path on south side of Tache); one block west to Montcalm; Take pleasant bike path starting in park on NW corner, going under Montcalm and under Blvd. des Allumettieres. Turn left at bike tunnel, going under Route 50, uphill along Rue Amherst; to Saint-Joseph. Turn right (north) along St. Joseph to PVM. (30 mins)

Arriving at TLC
~ 8:40 / Head North down Roosevelt, across Transitway foot bridge, left on to Workman, right onto Parkway bike path, turn left and go under parkway at Westboro Beach, cross Ottawa River using Champlain Bridge, right onto Voyageur bike path (along Ottawa River), all the way to TLC.

Arriving at PVM ~ 8:00 am / Paved bike path from AviationMuseum to Ottawa New Edinburgh (Sailing) Club, sidewalk or pkwy to Lookout, then pkwy to RockcliffePark. Take the road through the park, then Sussex Dr (bike lane) to McDonald Cartier bridge. Take the sidewalk across the bridge (now separated from traffic by barriers). Sidewalk exits onto Laurier, then Sacré-Coeur, Saint Redempteur, Montclair, St Joseph to PVM (10 km).

Arriving at TLC and Portages ~ 8:10 am / Follow the new St-Joseph Boulevard cycle path North to the GatineauRiver pathway. Continue along the GatineauRiver pathway. This will turn into the Lac Leamy pathway, and then the Ruisseau-de-la-brasserie pathway. The cycle paths are easy and beautiful, particularly around the river and Lac Leamy.

Arriving at PVM ~ 8:30 am / Starting on the road along Rue de Pointe-Gatineau (very large street with lots of room for bikes and cars); cut on Onésime onto Rue de la Baie; all the way down to Rue Jacques-Cartier. Then stop at the Church (to pick up more people). Then take the Fournier bridge. From there, we embark on the bike path aroundLakeLeamy, nicest part of the ride. Then out by the casino through Blvd. de la Carrière to the mall using the ramp up to PVM.
