For April 23, 2017, 2nd Sunday of Easter ~ the Scriptures are Acts 2:14a, 22-32; & John 20:19-31& Psalm 16. We start a new sermon series on the Fruits of the Spirit. The sermon text is Galatians 5: 22-26, Romans 12:9 and the message is “Love”.

Easter Offering 2017

This year’s offering will be used to pay our Prior Claim apportionment in full, which is about $6,000.00. 10% of whatever this offering raises will also go to support Park View Mission. With that in mind, please prayerfully consider what you might want to give in appreciation for what Christ sacrificed for us all. Envelopes are provided in the pew racks! Make your check payable to “Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church”. Mark it “Easter Offering”.

Children and Their Safety are Important at Chestnut Hill UMC

We rejoice that as a church we are able to offer carefully planned, age appropriate care and activities for our children and youth.

Today, children ages 4 and above will stay in the sanctuary for worship.

Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers. The Nursery is located in Classroom 101 (exit through the right side door at the front of the sanctuary, pass through “the Commons,” gothrough the double doors to the Education Building and follow the hallway to the Nursery at the end of the hall on the left).
