Requests for Repeat Medication

If you take medication on a long term basis you can request a repeat prescription in writing or by handing in your repeat slip in at reception. Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for medication over the telephone. Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be ready for collection.

If you require somebody else to collect your prescription you must ensure that you have let the surgery know that you consent for a third party to collect your prescription and the name of that person. Consent forms are available on request.

Medication Reviews:

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor or nurse practitioner at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Pharmacy Services:

Please note most Pharmacies in Eastbourne provide a service whereby they will drop off your repeatrequestto the Surgery and collect your completed prescription, your medication will be ready for collection at the Pharmacy. Pleasespeak to your designated Pharmacy to see if this service is available. A consent form will need to be completed at your chosen pharmacy and returned to the Centre.
