EFO members will have priority booking until Saturday 19th September. After this date bookings will be offered to Non - EFO Members. Places are offered on a first come basis once the application form has been received.

EFO Art Fair - Terms & Conditions

1. For Non Members only: - The EFO reserves the right to refuse any vendor’s application if her or his work does not meet the criteria or is not considered appropriate for sale at the fair.

2. Cancellations before 2nd November will incur 50% charge, cancellations thereafter incur 75% charge, no show on the day incurs 100% charge.

3. The help of all participants is essential so we are able to keep the table fee low. We need your help with the distribution of leaflets in East Finchley, Muswell Hill, Crouch End and further afield.

4. We ask that all participants assist in the promotion of the event through your own contact & mailing list using literature and images provided by the EFO.

5. Setting up: Arrival time from 9am on Saturday 21st November.

You only have two hours to set up before the doors open to the public at 11am

6. If you do not want to leave your display up overnight at the school (Saturday 21st Nov),

then you need to set up at 10am sharp on the Sunday morning.

7. If you wish to display & sell items that are different to the work submitted in the application then you must consult the EFO fair organiser before 2nd Nov. The EFO Art Fair is intended as an eclectic showcase of local hand-made art but can be open to a wider locality. Stalls can also be used for advertising art and craft services carried out by the vendor, for example art and craft supplies, framing, teaching. However, they are not intended as displays of wholesale or imported items, specifically any items not made by the vendor.

8. You are required to keep your stall set up until the end of the fair on Sunday 22nd November

which closes to the public at 5pm.

9. Please keep your space free of all rubbish during fair opening times and leave the space clean at end of the event.

10. Safety, insurance & liability : It is the individual vendor's responsibility to insure the contents of their stall and their property and further that any people working on it are safe and secure for the duration of the event. EFO have public liability insurance, but will not take out any cover (or accept any responsibility) for vendors' work, personal items, vehicles, equipment or monies etc. EFO is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of any items

12. Any disputes regarding these terms & conditions and other matters that may arise will be settled through discussion with the EFO’s committee or its representatives at the venue, whose decisions will be final. The EFO reserve the right to refuse admission or remove people and materials from the premises if these terms and conditions are not met at any time. A cancellation fee may be incurred.

13. Publicity: The EFO publicity team will produce printed and electronic publicity information for the event (including website, social media, posters etc) and will need support from the EFO members to distribute to the parents at The Archer Academy, local shops, community locations, local door drops and press. The Fair will also be advertised on the school’s web site.

Table details; Tables are 1800x700mm + 2 chairs. There may be the opportunity to hire an extra table.

Space only hire option: The size of the space is the same as for those hiring a table – includes 2 chairs. Clothing racks or rails will not be provided, stallholders should bring their own. Racks and rails or other obstructions will not be allowed in the gangways or across fire doors.

Gallery space package – includes 2 screens, a small table to display cards, and space for 1 print browser. The EFO will provide the screens and table to display cards however no browsers will be provided. Please note all work hung on the screens must be framed. EFO to advise on fixings required for pictures to be hung on the screens.

Stallholders should not hang or attach anything to adjacent walls or fixtures by any means, without prior permission from the organisers.

Opening times for the public are 11am – 5pm on the two days Sat and Sun 21/22 November 2015, Your stall, all work and belongings must be cleared from the venue within a half hour of the end of the event.

Table dressing: It is very important that the fabric covering the table goes right down to the floor. All bags, boxes and rubbish need to be out of sight from customers.

Sharing stalls & responsible stallholders: 2 people may share a table. The person booking the table becomes the "responsible vendor" and will pay the fee and will be the point of contact. All terms and conditions apply whether the table is shared or not and should be met by any person involved with the table at any time.

Special Requirements, facilities, additional lighting & power:

Any table lighting that requires mains power may be permitted but requirements must be specified on the application form. Sockets are limited and extension leads will not be permitted. Please let us know on the application form if you have any special requirements. We will endeavour to satisfy them, but we do not guarantee all requests can be met. We will let you know if these will be available or not, before accepting your application.
Note: Incense, candles or other lit items are not permitted. Music is not permitted.

Exhibitor parking: The Archer Academy has parking space only for exhibitors to unload their goods. Vehicles must be removed after unloading. There are free roadside parking spaces close by.

Access: There is wheelchair access to the school and disabled toilets.

Public Transport: The nearest tube station is East Finchley on the Northern Line, High Barnet branch. Bus routes: 263 and 143.

Fire Muster Point: The location of this will be conveyed to exhibitors on the day together with other safety checks.

SMOKING is NOT allowed anywhere on the school premises.

First Aid: St John ambulance first aiders will be on site for the duration of this 2 day event.

Refreshments: cakes, sandwiches and light refreshments will be available during this two day event. Stallholders will be entitled to 1 free tea/coffee and 1 free cake/bun per day.
