Dear Friend of the East Cobb Park,
On Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 from 6:00-8:30pm, the East Cobb Civitan Club will partner with the Friends for the East Cobb Park to hold the 16th Annual Silent Auction and Wine Tasting at Trilogy. (Trilogy is a new restaurant & entertainment facility in East Cobb. They are located behind the Parkaire Kroger in “Sparkles Skating’s” former location.) We again are thankful to enjoy the support of the “Wine Shop at Parkaire” as a premier sponsors for this event. We are excited that Cobb Commission Chairman Sam Olens will Chair this event, and that Senator Johnny Isakson will be our Special Invited Guest*.
This is our largest fund raising event of the year. Its success depends on the generous support of businesses such as yours that are willing to make donations of cash for sponsorships and/or merchandise & services to be auctioned. The proceeds from our auction will help support the East Cobb Park and Camp Big Heart - as well as scholarships and many other community projects for the aged, homeless, handicapped and needy. Last year this auction raised over $20,000 for these various charities, and accumulated gifts to the Park from this event now exceed $60,000!
We are asking you to make a tax-deductible contribution in the form of a sponsorship and / or donation of merchandise or service. Contributors, along with their gift or advertisement, will be inscribed in the special catalog printed for the occasion, and be provided tickets for the event.
If you are donating services or goods to be redeemed at your business, please offer a letter or certificate that can be given to the successful bidder.
The auction and wine tasting will start promptly at 6:00 pm, and include hors d’oeuvres. Please call 770-516-7209 or email to make arrangements for the pick up of your donation, or for any other information needed.
