MRS. LAMB’S 2ND GRADE

Both classes have been studying solids in our Solids, Liquids, & Gases unit. After studying which solid materials have good properties for making sturdy towers, the class split up into teams to do the work of engineers. Each engineer team was given a certain amount of solid objects to design and make their own towers. The fastest engineer team was Ava, Marcus, Owen, and Mrs. Davis (See large photo...Not pictured-Owen & Mrs. Davis). Each tower had to stand the test of "wind"... 15 seconds of a fan blowing "wind" on them. All the teams built sturdy towers that withstood the test! Good job, 2nd Grade!

The photo collage below is of Mrs. Lamb's class in science.
