Competition will be held in the Dynamo Swim Center’s 8 lane, 50 meter covered
pool. Also available for warm-up/warm-down will be a 9 lane, 25 meter indoor
pool. A Colorado Timing System will be used. The competition course has been
certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4) . The copy of such certification is on
file with USA Swimming & Georgia Swimming.

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers and teams registered with USA Swimming. All teams must
sign the waiver on the Summary Sheet stating that all swimmers participating in this meet are currently registered with USA Swimming.
Out-of-state teams should be prepared to submit proof of current USA Swimming membership for each swimmer entered, if requested by the sponsoring team.
USA Swimming registration applications will be accepted at this meet. You must have a check for $59.00 made out to “Georgia Swimming” to register; plus $25 penalty if you are a late renewing swimmer.
Format:All events will be conducted as Timed Finals.
In order to eliminate as many empty lanes as possible; and thus speed up
the meet; ALL EVENTS will be POSITIVE CHECK-IN according to the
schedule below. Following the check-in period for each set of events; swimmers
who have not checked in will be eliminated; the events seeded and heat sheets
generated. It is critical that you remind all your swimmers to check in before
their session or they will not get to swim their event; NO EXCEPTIONS.
All events will be swum slowest to fastest; except for the Open 800 & 1500 Free heats which will be swum alternating women and men, fastest to slowest by event.
Dive-over starts may be utilized at the discretion of meet management.
Rules:All Swimmers, Coaches and Officials must be currently registered with USA Swimming. Membership applications will be accepted at this meet. It is the requirement of USA Swimming that ALL OFFICIALS andCOACHES wear their current USA Swimming registration card while on deck. Current USA Swimming rules will govern the conduct of the meet unless otherwise noted.
Warm-up:In accordance with USA Swimming guidelines, there will be a published warm-up
procedure for all swimmers and coaches attending the meet. Coaches will be
required to monitor warm-ups for their swimmers. The Marshall will ensure all
teams, coaches, and swimmers follow all warm-up procedures.

Entry Limit: Allswimmers are limited to one event on Friday.
Swimmers may enter up to four (4) events and only one (1) session on Saturday.
- 10 & Under must choose either the 200 Free or 200 IM
- 11-12 must choose either the 200 IM or the 400 Free
- 13 & Over must choose either the 400 IM or the 400 Free
The meet will be limited to the first (200) 12&Under and
(250) 13&Over swimmers from whom entries are received.
Entries will be accepted strictly on a first come, basis. Absolutely no phone or fax entries accepted.
Entry Fee: Four dollars ($4.00) per individual event. Georgia Swimming, Inc., also requires a $2.00 surcharge per swimmer for all out-of Georgia LSC swimmers.
Make checks payable to: DYNAMO PARENTS’ CLUB. Entries will not be accepted unless accompanied by the correct fees.
Entry Forms:Please submit entries in a Hytek entry file. Each entry must include the
USA Swimming Club Code; each swimmer’s USA Swimming registration number; first and last name, age and seed time for each event entered.
Incomplete entries may be refused.
Each team must complete the Meet Entry Summary Sheet. A printed copy of all entries, fees, and a completed and signed Liability Release Form must be submitted by the entry deadline.
E-mail entries, as attached Hytek entry files, can be sent to: as long as a hard copy, signed entry summary form, signed liability release form, and a check are received by the entry deadline. E-mail entries must be accompanied by a word file of your entries so we can verify proper import.

Late Entries: No new entries will be accepted once the 200 (12 & under) and
250 (13 & over) limits are reached. Late entries from swimmers already accepted
into the meet will be permitted only if open lanes exist; no additional heats will be created. All late entries will be seeded as NT. Late entry fees are double ($8.00) the standard entry fee and are due at registration. NO LATE ENTRIES or CHANGES ACCEPTED ONCE POSITIVE CHECK IN HAS CLOSED.
All swimmers entering late must show their 2009 USA Swimming Registration
card to the clerk of course to verify their current USA Swimming membership.
AWARDS:Ribbons for 1st through 8th place for all 12 & under events.
TEAM SCORING:None
Liability Release: U.S.A. Swimming, Inc.; Georgia Swimming, Inc.; and the Dynamo Swim Club
shall be free and harmless from any and all liabilities or claims for damage arising
by reason of injury to anyone during the conduct of the meet. Acceptance of this
policy is evidenced by entry into this meet.
Officials: An officials meeting will be held 45 minutes prior to the start of the first event.
CertifiedOfficials or Apprentices wishing to work this meet may contact the meet
Referee: Officials (and apprentices) should be prepared to present their LSC
certification card, and their USA Swimming Registration Card to the meet Referee;
and wear them at all times, while working on deck or while in Hospitality. Standard dress for officials is blue pants, shorts or skirt; white polo shirt and white shoes and socks.

Coaches Meeting: 2:50PM Friday afternoon, June 5, 2009 in the hospitality room.
At least one coach from each team shall attend a short Coaches Meeting.
Signing in will be required. Coaches will need to show a current coach’s USA
Swimming registration card.

& CONCESSIONS:Basic concessions will be available. A hospitality area will be provided for all
officials and coaches.
PARKING:The Dynamo Swim Club has limited parking. Please adhere to the parking directions on the property.
