Summer Extended Learning Opportunities
Dutchtown High School will offering summer extended learning opportunities to those students who are only missing half-credits for a course.
• Dates: June 1- 25, 2015 (Monday – Thursday ONLY)• Times: Session I 8:30 – 11:30
Session II 12:00 – 3:00
• Orientation: May 26, 2015 at 6:00 pm in the commons
• Who May Attend: Students who need to recovery a half-credit for a course in order to meet graduation requirements.
What platform will be used?
Students will be using Edgenuity to recover their coursework. Students will have four weeks to complete their work./
General Information
Registration Begins: May 4, 2015Registration Ends: May 20, 2015
Registration Forms: Will be available in the counseling office, front office and on the DHS webpage under Summer Extended Learning Opportunities.
Students will receive written notification regarding their acceptance in the Summer Extended Learning Program.
Attendance , Discipline and Work Ethics
1. Students will be allowed 2 absences ONLY; 3rd absence will be a dismissal from the program.
2. Only appropriate behavior will be honored.
3. Students will be ON TIME DAILY.
4. Students will report to classrooms READY TO LEARN!!
5. By June 12, 2015 ALL students must complete half of the course being attempted.
6. Students who fail to meet the requirement of completing 50% of the course by June 12 will be dismissed and asked to complete the course during the 2015 -2016 school year. /
