Primary Dealer Contract - 2017
The State of the Netherlands, which has its seat in The Hague, represented by the Minister of Finance, legally represented in this matter by Nicolaas Nahuis, Agent;

Considering
a) The Dutch State Treasury Agency (DSTA) issues Dutch State Loans (DSLs) on behalf of the State of the Netherlands.
b) It is in the best interest of the State of the Netherlands that its DSLs are allocated adequately to end-investors, that market liquidity and transparency in the secondary market is maximised, and that the status of the Netherlands as a first class debtor in the euro capital market is maintained and strengthened.
c) With a view to its objectives regarding allocation, transparency and liquidity of DSLs, it is desirable that the State of the Netherlands is assisted by Primary Dealers in the purchase, issuance, trading, promotion and support of DSLs.
Agree
1. «Naam» has been accorded the status of Primary Dealer in DSLs, effective from 1 January 2017 up to and including 31 December 2017.
2. The rights and obligations, as well as other stipulations and appendices, of the General Primary Dealers Conditions and the General Conditions for Registration in the DTC-Register are applicable to, and form part of, this contract.
3. The business plan, drawn up by «Naam» to acquire (or maintain) the status of Primary Dealer, is part of this contract. Obligations and commitments in the business plan are obligations resulting from this contract.
4. For the purpose of the DDA Allocation and Price Compliance Statement as mentioned in article 2.3 and Annex 3 of the General Primary Dealers Conditions the name(s), contact details and signature(s) of the competent authorities within the Compliance department is needed.
