Detention

We will no longer have school-wide Detention.

Each team may hold their own Detention.

Detention must be supervised by a teacher, or teachers on your team.

Detention Protocol:

  1. Parents must have at least 24 hour notice if their child needs to stay for Detention.
  2. Students assigned must be listed on the Detention Information Form (See form below).
  3. Teachers will be responsible for making copies of the form.
  4. Make sure to provide a copy for the Office Secretary on the day of Detention.
  5. Assigned students not attending Detention will be checked off, and the form turned into the grade administrator.
  6. Students will be called each Thursday morning to report to the Pupil Service office to provide the cause of missed Detention and be issued the appropriate consequence.

Consequences for missing Detention:

1st offense: A second detention issued & Parent Contact

2nd offense: In-School Suspension issued & Parent Contact

3rd offense: Overnight suspension issued & Parent Contact

4th offense: 1 day Home suspension issued & Parent Contact

5th offense: 2 day Home suspension issued & Parent Contact
