Tournament Rules and Regulations

1. The Event Organiser(s) reserve the right to refuse entries and admission to the event of any persons not in good standing within the BFA.

2. No person shall carry out punitive or harsh handling of a dog at the event.

3. Bitches in season are not allowed near the tournament. Mating of dogs is not allowed.

4. A dog must be withdrawn from competition if it is:

(a) Suffering from infectious or contagious diseases.

(b) A danger to the safety of any person or animal.

(c) Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues to compete.

5. It is the Team Captain’s responsibility to ensure each team is available for their division and running order.

6. The Event Organiser(s) reserve the right to make any alterations they deem necessary in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

7. All people and dogs enter the event at their own risk and whilst every care will be taken, the Event Organiser(s) cannot accept responsibility for damage, injury, or loss however caused to dogs, people or property whilst at the event.

8. All owners/handlers must clear up after their dogs. Anyone failing to do so will be asked to leave the venue.

9. No alcohol to be consumed within or around the ring. No smoking within or around the ring.

10. If circumstances make it necessary for the tournament to be cancelled, the Event Organiser(s) reserve the right to defray expenses incurred by deducting them from the entry fees received.

11. No person shall impugn the decision of the Head Judge or Judges.

12. Current BFA Rules and Policies will apply throughout the Sanctioned Tournament.

Directions

Travelling along Kingsway (A90) from Perth direction, as you come into Dundee you should stay on the A90 for Aberdeen (go straight over the A85 Dundee Airport Roundabout and straight over the Charleston Roundabout). About 2¼ miles after the Charleston Roundabout, you will need to take the slip road off the A90 and the first exit at the roundabout, signed for Birkhill and Coupar Angus A923. After only around 50 metres, you come to a roundabout where you should turnLeft and then immediately Right into Camperdown Park. As you come into the Park itself, you should be able to see the tournament site down to your left.
