I am the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:1-31)

By Pastor Gilbert Tan

  • Read the scripture passage.
  • Do a THREE-MINUTE SUMMARY of the sermon highlighting theKEY POINTS. Do not preach the whole sermon again, as majority of your members would have heard the sermon already. Allocate more time for sharing in the cell through the application questions below.
  • Sermon Resource at:

Use the WORD Activity sheet accordingly or as your guide

Note to Word Facilitator, as closing, it is recommended that you close with this song:

The song is “He Knows my Name” by Tommy Walker sung by a little girl.

The reason this version is chosen is because God accepts us as His children. Even in the imperfectness of our life, He loves us as we are. Also, we need to learn to love God again as a young child, exactly as Jesus advocates us to come to God in the same way.

WORD Activity Sheet (for Printing)

The Doubt / The Answer
Although we ‘know’ that our God is all powerful and yet all loving, still we have doubts in life at times. Write down, in the space below, your latest challenge in trusting God completely / Jesus says,“He is the Way, the Truth and the Life” and He is the answer to all the doubts in life. How real is Jesus to you and what does He mean to you as…
The Way:
The Truth:
The Life:

The RevelationQuestions for Discussion
