Dues Waived Membership Criteria

The Board of Directors, at the written request of a member of the Club, may waive the dues of any member of the Club, provided the following criteria are met:

1.  The sum of the Member’s age and his or her membership in this or any other club, in years, shall exceed 115.

2.  The Member shall have a compelling reason as to the request including, but not necessarily limited to the following, that prevents said Member from attending the Club’s weekly meetings:

a.  Health concerns including failing health or temporary health issue

b.  Financial concerns including limited financial capabilities that prevent the member from renewing his or her membership in the Club.

Dues waived status shall be granted by the Board of Directors as requested for a one year period at the beginning of the Rotary year and shall be re-considered on an annual basis.

Honorary Membership Criteria

The Board of Directors, at the written application of any member of the Club, may name a person to Honorary Membership, provided the following criteria are met:

1.  Said person is not a member of this or any other Rotary Club

2.  Said person is living or has lived within the territorial limits of the Club.

3.  Said person shall have demonstrated meritorious service furthering the ideals of Rotary, or that has significantly contributed to the Rotary Club of Cincinnati.

4.  Items that were deemed inappropriate for consideration of Honorary Membership:

a. It is not to be used as a tool to leverage Membership Development.

b.  It is not to be used as a means of offering membership to elected officials who would otherwise be barred from membership in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
