Eligibility Requirements
- Be enrolled in the ninth, tenth, eleventh or twelfth grade of a private or public high school in Georgia or a home study program within the State of Georgia operated in accordance with O.C.G.A. §20-2-690(c);
- Be meet the Georgia Piedmont Technical College eligibility requirements (including test score requirements);
- Old SAT scores were taken prior to March 2016.
The following minimum scores are required: - Accuplacer 64 Reading 70 Sentence Skills 57 Math (Degree) 55 Reading 60 Sentence Skills 23 Math (Technical)
- ACT Requirement: 17 Reading 16 Sentence Skills and 19 Math (Degree) 13 Reading 12 Sentence Skills 17 Math (Technical)
- Old SAT Requirement: 450 Verbal (Critical Reading) and 440 Math (Degree) 430 Reading 400 Math (Technical)
- New SAT Requirement: 25 Reading and 24 Math (Degree) 24 Reading and 22 Math (Technical)
- Be enrolled in courses that are approved by the student’s high school as well as the GPTC, DE Advisor.
- Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by GPTC

- All juniors and seniors are only required to have a 3.0 GPA (SAT and ACT test scores are waived).
Other colleges are available for DE opportunities. We have included the information for those most convenient to our location. MOWR allows students to earn college credit while in high school. This allows participants to save time and money as well as ease into their college transition with heightened support mechanisms.
