HUGE QUANTITY OF CONTRABAND CHARAS (HASHISH) SEIZED.
TWO SUPPLIERS INDULGING IN THIS ILLICIT TRADE ARRESTED.
AN i-10 HYUNDAI CAR RECOVERED.
INTRODUCTION:-
A team of South-Eastern Range of Crime Branch led by Inspr Sunil Kumar and comprising of SIs Ravinder Teotia, Radhey Shyam, N S Rana, Ravinder Verma, HCs Vikram Dutt, Ravinder Baliyan, Ieed Mohd and Cts Surender Pal, Prem Pal and Kusum Pal under the supervision of ACP Raja Ram and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh has succeeded in unearthing a gang involved in the supply of contraband Charas in Delhi and NCR regions. Two suppliers involved in this illicit trade have been arrested and about 8 kgs of Charas and one i-10 Hyundai car have been recovered from their possession.
INCIDENT AND OPERATION:
A secret input was received that two persons namely Abhishek and Abhimanyu, involved in the supply of Charas/psychotropic substance would come near Bhairon Mandir to deliver a consignment of Charas to one of their contacts. A trap was laid and at about 07.30 PM, two persons later identified as Abhishek s/o Rajender Singh r/o 442, Anuyogi Puram, Garh Road, Meerut, UP and Abhimanyu s/o Indresh kumar r/o H.No 32, Shiv Sarovar, Bank Colony, Meerut, UP, who came there in an i-10 Hyundai car No.UK 8 M 9642 were apprehended and from their search, about 8 kgs of fine quality contraband Charas was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No.192/13 u/s 20/25/29 NDPS Act, PS Crime Branch has been registered in this regard.
INTERROGATION:-
On sustained interrogation, it is revealed that accused Abhishek was working as an Asstt. Manager, Accounts in a Construction Company in Noida and accused Abhimanyu was working as Asstt. Team Leader in a Call Centre at Meerut, UP. Both were not comfortable with their earnings and wanted to earn quick easy money, so they turned to criminal activities. To fulfill their desires, in 2013, they contacted one Hazi Taslim of Meerut, UP, a known drug supplier of western UP, who lured and joined them in his gang.
PROFILE:-
- Abhishek (age 27 years) was born in village Salarpur, Hapur, UP. He is Post Graduate (M.Com.) and presently working as Asstt. Manager, Accounts in a Construction Company in Noida, UP. He has two brothers and one sister. He is married and has a son. He is known to other accused Abhimanyu since last 1 year and previously supplied the consignments two three times.
- Abhimanyu (age 24 years) was born inMeerut, UP. He is graduate (B.C.A.) and presently working as Asstt. Team Leader in a Call Centre in Meerut, UP. He is unmarried and has one brother. He is known to accused Abhishek since last 1 years and previously supplied the consignment two three times.
Police is on the trail of other accomplices and more recoveries and arrest may take place since further investigation is underway.

The staff of PS Tilak Nagar, West District has done an excellent work by arresting three accused persons namely Ranjeet Kumar, Ramesh Rai & Amar Nath Rai and recovered 106 kg Ganja from their possession

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST
In view of ensuing Delhi Legislative Assembly Election, 2013, a drive has been launched in the West District against the persons indulging in supply of liquor, drugs . The staff have been motivated to collect the information about the persons indulging in transporting and sale of drugs.
On 14.11.13, an information was received that a large quantity of Ganja will be transported to New Sahibapura, Tilak Vihar, CRPF Camp, Delhi. Accordingly, a special team consisting of SI Manohar Lal, I/C, PP Tilak Vihar, ASI Paramjeet Singh, HC Sanjay No-89/W, Ct Jasvir No-2919/W & Ct Rohtash No-1339/W was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Karuna Sagar, SHO/Tilak Nagar & overall supervision of Sh. Vinit Kumar, ACP/Tilak Nagar. A trap was laid near CRPF Camp. At about 1.30 P.M., a Mahindra Champion three Wheeler bearing registration no. DL-1L, J-2218 was spotted which was coming from Outer Ring Road towards Tilak Vihar. The driver was asked to show his relevant documentsbut he could not produce any satisfactory documents which created suspicion in the minds of police personnel. On further checking, the staff recovered 51 kg of Ganja in three plastic bags kept inside the vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Ranjeet Kumar and Ramesh Rai and were put to thorough interrogation. A case vide FIR No 610/13 dated 14/11/13 U/s 20/25/29 NDPS Act was registered in this regard.
INTERROGATION
On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that they indulged in committing crime for making quick money. It was further revealed that the consignment was arranged by one Raju Yadav, the kingpin of the gang. They also disclosed that they had procured the drugs from Bihar and Orissa through Raju Yadav and supply the same in the various area of Ragubir Nagar, Sultan Puri and Mangolpuri. On their instance, three more plastic bags containing 51 Kg. ganja were also recovered from a rented shop situated at 24/1 Village Khyala. The owner of shop Laxman is being contacted to ascertain further detail. Effort is being made to arrest the remaining accused in this case.
Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

MURDER CASE SOLVED BY THE STAFF OF PS VIVEK VIHAR
One accused arrested & one Juvenile (JCL) APPREHENDED ON THE SPOT
INCIDENT:-
On the night intervening 14/15.11.13 at 2110 hrs., a PCR Call regarding stabbing of a boy at Jhuggi No. B-80/537 opposite Satiha behind P.S. Vivek Vihar was received at P.S Vivek Vihar vide DD No. 20 A. Immediately SI Parveen Kumar, No. D-4334 along with Ct. Ravi, reached at the spot i.e. Mandir wali Gali, Rajiv Camp, Jhilmil Colony, Delhi and and the alleged accused persons Rajender and Rohit were apprehended along with blood stained knife used in crimeand it came into notice that the injured has already been shifted to Hedgewar Hospital . Further it was revealed through Rakesh Kumar brother of deceased that there was some altercation and quarrel over the issue of spilling of oil purchased by alleged Rajinder from the local provision store. Amar (Juvenile) (name changed) caught hold of deceased Rajesh and Rajender stabbed him on the right side of armpit. The above said case was registered at P.S. Vivek Vihar and the accused Rajender age 23 years has been sent to judicial custody and Amar (Juvenile) (name changed) has been sent to Sewa Kutir.
INTERROGATION
During the course of investigation it has been revealed that Rajesh is having three cycle rickshaw and was residing in the neighbourhood of accused Rajender. Rajender was beaten and abused by Rajesh just before the incident. Rajender was having a butcher knife in his jhuggi. On being beaten and abused he stabbed the deceased while his younger brother Amar (Juvenile) (name changed) caught hold of him. There was no personal enmity prior to this incident.
PROFILE OF THE CRIMINAL
- Rajender S/O Shiv Kumar R/O Jhuggi No. 80/526, Rajiv Camp, Jhilmil Colony, Delhi, age 23 Yrs. He is illiterate and belongs to lower class family. He works in a car accessory shop at Kashmiri Gate, Delhi and is a permanent resident of Distt. Partap Garh U.P. He do not have any criminal back ground.
- Amar (Juvenile)(name changed) r/o Delhi, age 17 Yrs. is studying in class 12th in Govt.School, Delhi and does not have any criminal back ground.
MODUS OPERANDI.
The accused Rajender was beaten and abused by Rajesh just before the incident. To take revenge of his insult Rajender brought a butcher knife from his jhuggi and stabbed the deceased while his younger brother Amar (Juvenile)(name changed) caught hold of him.
