It faces the almost stable economy with no fluctuations in tax rates. It is growing with the growth of the economy. Recently, President Donald Trump’s plans to cut federal funding is the challenge for Interim. Meanwhile, there is increasing disposable personal income in U.S increased donations and memberships of Interim. On the another hand, Increased rental payments, bank fees and utility bills, tighten budgets for Interim.

This is also called socio-cultural factors. The impact of society on the functioning of business is significant. Interim Inc. is working for the social benefits. It has done a lot for the welfare of the society. It provides affordable housing support to the mental disorder people who are a great step taken by Interim Inc.

The fastest growing factor among all the external factors is technology, and its impact on business is considerable. There is not much effect of technology on Interim Inc. it only uses technology to build affordable houses for the needy people.

Its focus on Housing, Healing, and Hope. They are working towards providing affordable housing, education facilities to the youth suffering from serious mental illness. They are sticking to their objectives, and it is their key to success.

The effective process ensures that clients get the thing exactly what they required at the right time. Interim Inc. ensures the right process to get things done at the right time. They have established a proper communication channel to ensure the effectiveness of the process.

The physical resource includes finance, facility, and equipment. Interim Inc. requires a lot of financial assistance to achieve its goals. They provide housing support to mental illness and to do this they need a lot of money. For getting the financial assistance, they have given an option of Donate on their official website. They also receive financial assistance in the form of cash and check. One can also transfer amount directly to its bank account.

Rivalry within the industry (Moderate)
There is moderate competition in this industry. There are less direct competitors of Interim Inc., but they are also substitutes of the Interim Inc. The purpose of all these competitors is same as Interim Inc. There are some other indirect competitors of Interim Inc. They are having the same purpose of serving the people who have a mental illness. Some of them also provide housing support facility to the needy.
Power of suppliers (High)
In the case of Non-profit organizations those welcome donation in cash and kind, there is no matter of power of suppliers. Because it depends on the will of suppliers whether they want to donate or not. Every day thousands of people donate in cash and kind to NGOs for the welfare of the society.
Power of customers (Moderate)
Every year 42.5 million people in the USA suffer from mental illness. Power of customers means the degree of bargaining power of customers. Every day thousands of people who are suffering from mental illness require housing support. Due to the awareness among people the power of customers has increased.
Threats of substitutes (Moderate)
Many players are existing in the industries who are a substitute of Interim Inc. and creating the threats of a substitute. Alternatives, Sanctuary Supported Living, NAMI- National Alliance on Mental Illness are the major threats for the Interim Inc. But as we have discussed that every year 42.5 million people have a mental illness, threats from a substitute for Interim Inc. is moderate. But it is also important to note that new entrants are expected to enter the industry, and hence there is a chance to increase the level of threats from the substitute.
