DRC Policy Additions 2013

Non DRC Members Using DRC Equipment.

1)  Members of other USRowing, Rowing Canada or college team/clubs may use DRC equipment on an occasional basis (a few times per year). The DRC equipment used should be based on their rowing experience. They must also realize they are responsible for any damage to the equipment just as DRC members are. They must also sign a DRC waiver.

2)  DRC member’s guests may row one time gratis with the club member in order to introduce a prospective member to rowing. After this first row the guest must either, a) purchase a club membership, b) purchase a ten row pass or c) join a Learn to Row class. Guests must sign a DRC waiver before rowing and the DRC member and guest are responsible for any damage to DRC equipment.

3)  DRC Members’ family may row with the member a few times per year gratis. If the number of rows becomes excessive or the family member wants to row without the member, a family membership should be purchased. Again the rowers are responsible for any damage to DRC equipment and must sign a DRC waiver.

NOTE: NO ONE SHOULD ROW ANY EQUIPMENT, DRC OR PRIVATE, OUT OF THE DULUTH ROWING CLUB BOATHOUSE WITHOUT FIRST SIGNING A DRC WAIVER.
