Please be aware that this schedule is our proposed plan and is subject to change. We will endeavour to follow this schedule in its entirety; however changed weather or road conditions or other factors may necessitate alterations.

All trips will have driver briefings at 8.00 am unless otherwise stated.

Sat 25th March Registration between 9am and 12pm
Register, set up campsites and familiarise with the site. The first day will be a relaxing day with some easy trips exploring some local gold mining history areas, or just time to explore Omeo township on your own and stock up for tomorrow’s trips.
Trip 1: / Victoria Falls

Easy / Visit Victoria Falls area, home of the state's first hydro-power scheme. Enjoy the Black Sally Gums and lovely riverside then drive to the magnificent Falls and gorge.
Trip 2: / Ah Fongs Walk
1.5km (45 minutes return)

(Gravel, some steps)
Grade 2 / A short drive to the Oriental Claims area and then an enjoyable walk to the site originally worked by the Chinese miner, Ah Fong, from 1875. Part of the walk hugs the pretty Livingstone Creek. Bring some afternoon tea for a picnic stop along the way.

easy / Visit Bushman Bill Ah Chow’s log and stone hut and continue to the historic steam powered high lead/skyline logging cableway. Great Views along the way.

Easy / Enjoy and easy drive to Swift's Creek via Cassilis and Tongio West These were once thriving mining town. Visit the historic cemetery and mining relics such as the Jirnkee water race.

Easy/med / A trip for Tailgate Slide on camper group to Mckillops, world end TK, and Wulgulmerang creek falls

Mon 27th March: Graeme and Steve are offering the popular 1 day trip to Shannonvale or a 2 day trip for those who are ready for an overnighter.

Wed 29thMarch Everyone has the opportunity of heading overnight today for either 1 or 2 nights. The special Shannonvale Sleeper is on offer ( extra cost) as well as a trip back to some of last years favourites

V Hard / A trip for experienced drivers travelling along some truly scenic country side to Dogman Hut and then along the Davies High Plains Rd
This is a very challenging track requiring high clearance vehicles.

Med/hard / A trip not to be missed by the legendary Tony Wells and his wife Janice , visiting the iconic Bridge in its magnificent Alpine river-gorge setting.

Easy/med / A great three day trip which will visit some of last year’s favourites – Blue Rag, Talbotville, Crooked river, Murdering spur, Dogs Grave and more.

medium / An interesting day of river views and visiting some historical sights such as the Hinnomunjie Bridge and Taylors Crossing. Enjoy Arvo Drink at the Benambra Hotel a town settled on the beautiful Omeo High Plains, surrounded by mountain ranges and on the edge of the renowned Lake Omeo.
