RE:Memorial Day Mission Possible 5K Race & 1 Mile COLORFun Run - Corporate Sponsorship
To whom it may concern,
Covenant of Grace Presbyterian Church is hosting a race on Monday, May 29, 2017, to raise money in support of the youth group’s missions. This will be our seventh race and the event continues to grow. We had over 500 registrations last year, (not counting children 5 & under who ran free). We had around 650 people at our event in total. We offer a unique experience. A professionally timed 5K road race and a 1 mile COLOR fun run. It really is the best of both worlds as many participants do both runs. Having company sponsors are an integral part of putting on a successful event and we would love for you would consider partnering with us. Our Tax ID information is below if this is needed for your organization.
Different ways you can partner with us:
- We are accepting financial sponsorships until May 29th. The different levels of sponsorship is listed below. In order to maximize benefits of financial sponsorship you can sign up by May 4th.
- We pride ourselves in giving away amazing door prizes to our participants. We welcome any gift cards, gift baskets and other items to this end.
- We will be packing around 600 race bags to give out to race participants. These are people who live in the area and we would love to spruce up those bags with local business information along with coupons. Discounts, free promotional items, etc. from your business.
- We welcome any donation of food/drinks or other items that help bolster a race event.
- We would welcome sponsorship tables or other creative ideas for your company to be involved on race day. Please send separate email with summary proposal.
- We get many new registrations from yard signs – would you be willing to allow us to put a yard sign about our race on your property? Or a flyer in your store window? Flyers on a community table?
There are several levels of financial sponsorship your company can consider:
Platinum - $1500 - Gold - $1000 - Silver - $500 – Bronze $250 - Premium Sponsor $100 Other
If a different increment of financial donation is preferred then that will be gratefully received as well!
If you want so sponsor by product donation and/or involvement on race day, please contact the race director. More details about the tier of sponsorship are on the back page.
Covenant of Grace is located at the corner of Nicodemus Road and Berryman’s lane in Reisterstown and the church has been active in the community for 30 years. We would love to give you call in a week or so after you’ve considered your possible commitment. You can also feel free to call us if you know of your intent or have any questions.

(5) Sponsor “shout out” in race packets
(6) Logo/Name prominently displayed at Registration
(7) Your company will be given special recognition at Awards ceremony
(8) Your company will be printed on Reisterstown community post card mailing for 5K race
(9) If interested, you are allowed to set up an informational table about your company and hand
promotional material or product samples.
(10) You are also allowed to set up a banner or sign next to the finish chute if you choose to.

If you would like to make a product donation (ie. Gift Cards, Water bottles, tshirts, key chains, sports drinks, anything that could be used as door prizes, etc.) in exchange for promotional services that will be greatly appreciated.
