DP WORLD OFFERS DAILY IFTAR FOR ITS STAFFIN JEBEL ALI PORT

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August06, 2012:-DP World, UAE Region, has arranged for daily Iftar buffets for workersin Jebel Ali port, where around 700 staff members gather to break their fast during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Daily Iftar meals are being offered to port workers in a custom-built Ramadan tent located conveniently within the port area, and also offered at the mosque at the DP World staff accommodation area. The meals are offered in line with Ramadan’s message of compassion and giving, and the daily gatherings provide an opportunity for the workers to strengthen their social networks.

Mohammed Sharaf, Group CEO, DP World, Mohammed Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, UAE Region, and othersenior officials of DP World, UAE Region, joined staff breaking their fast at Jebel Ali Port.

Talking to staff members present at the Iftar, Mohammed Sharaf, Group CEO, DP Worldsaid:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and commitment to this journey of growth that we are witnessing here in Jebel Ali in particular and Dubai in general; your efforts and contribution are highly appreciated. I wish you all a Ramadan Mubarak.”
