Dozer Operations for Civil & Mining Training

This course is based upon the unit competency RIIMPO323A Conduct Civil Dozer Operations for those looking to work in Civil Construction . RIIMPO308B Conduct Mining Dozer Operations is aimed at those people working within the mining industry. The civil and mining industry builds infrastructure and mining projects within Australia. The dozer may be used for:

Land clearing or firebreaks
Track rolling
Ripping or scraping
Push loading
Towing equipment
Working in tandem
Winching
Boxing and mixing materials

Cost:

$4000.00 For full training (No Experience or license in driving dozer)

For a Black Coal Mining upgrade is an extra $300. This allows you the opportunity to work on both a Civil and Mine worksite.

$550.00 For A crossover or VOC (Verification of Competency) with SOA (Statement of attainment) is required if you already have a Mine or Civil Ticket and wish to change the current qualifications you currently have to either Civil or Mining.

Training & Duration:

The training is a 5 day course where you will undergo both theory and practical training. The Theory and the practical training will be conducted on a real pre existing Mine Site at Willowbank.

Skid Steer Operations (Bobcat) Civil & Mining Training

The Skid Steer ( Bobcat ) Course is based on RIIMPO318B Conduct Civil Skid Steer Loader operations. The course covers conducting Skid Steer Loader operations in the Civil Industries. Tasks that a skid steer may perform include:

Compacting
Truck excavation
Lifting and carrying Materials
Cutting batters and Benches
Rock Breaking
Stripping/spreading topsoil and materials
Backfilling
Loading vehicles
Rock Breaking
Excavations and mixing materials
Site clean up
