We are very excited to discuss with you the opportunity of being a sponsor of the 8th Annual Corvallis Half Marathon & 5K—Rotary Club After Five events. This event has raised more than $300,000 for local non-profits and has become a signature spring event for athletes throughout our region. We are on track to host this year’s 5K and Half Marathon on April 14th and 15th, and hope you will join with us to promote your business and support people in need throughout our community.
In 2017 The Corvallis Half Marathon and 5K;
· welcomed more than 1,500 athletes whose average household income is above $65,000/year
· hosted runners from throughout the state, 90% of which reside within twenty miles of Corvallis,
· promoted sponsors regularly through signage, print, electronic, web, and various media outlets,
· entertained thousands of family, friends, and local residents who turned out to watch the event.
This year’s two day event offers great exposure opportunities for sponsors. We offer vendor opportunities at the finish line of both the 5K and the Half Marathon on the OSU campus. Certain levels of sponsorship include vendor spaces. The beer garden and food will be in the same area.
Your financial support will not only promote awareness of your business within our community, but net proceeds from the Corvallis Half Marathon will support the operations of Linn-Benton Food Share, Boys and Girls Club of Corvallis, Oregon Hemophilia Society-Linn & Benton Counties, and other local Rotary service projects. The non-profits, who receive funds from the event, spend much of their charitable dollars in our local economy, in support of the individuals and families they serve.
