On behalf of the Pan American Judo Confederation you will receive the warmest welcome to the Pan American Cadet and Youth Cup 2016 That one will be held in the Dominican Republic .

In This time we are writing to you , in order to invite them to participate in the Pan American Open Cup Cadet and Junior, to be held in the City of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic , on April 01 to 06, 2016 , which will involve all Federations affiliated to the International Judo Federation . Competition will be a corporal in the categories Cadets ( U18 ) and Junior ( Under 21 ) For Men and Women . In The Same we will have a training camp from 04 to April 6, 2016.

Participation:

Each country may participate with a competitor for each weight division plus 2 competitors (as) in different weight divisions. (Total 10 male and 10 female competitors) . As host 4 contestants by weight.

Judoguis : be the mandatory use blue and white one for each competitor.

Judoguis control is performed through rules adopted by the IJF , Sokuteki since January 1, 2009.

5. ACCREDITATION AND CONTROL OF NATIONALITY.

Competitors must be registered by their National Federation, in a document signed by the President or the Secretary General.

Each competitor should check his identity, age and nationality by his official passport country. The natives of Dominican Republic with a passport or official identity card.

• Reserve February 25, 2016

• Final Registration March 12, 2016

6. REGISTRATION JUDOBASE

All participants and delegates must register for this event at the registration system of the IJF (JUDOBASE): https://admin.judobase.org/

After the new term records (late innings, replacements) are handled exclusively for accreditation in accordance with the following rules:

Keep in mind:

• People without ID card the IJF can only be entered by the property, if the ID card IJF be ordered until the end of Accreditation.

7. WEIGHING

The official weigh-athletes will be held one day before the competition. (See program)

Athletes will be weighted according to the rules of the IJF, underwear, and before the official weigh, athletes must present their passport and their respective accreditation for the event, in order to verify the identity of the competitor. All athletes must be members of federations affiliated to the IJF and the Pan American Judo Confederation (CPJ).

8. HOW TO COMPETITION

The competition will be held according to the latest rules of Arbitration of the IJF.

Adopted by the Dominican Judo Federation (FEDOJUDO)

* Competition system to use, simple Elimination Round Robin O with double repechage to quarter finals crossed, depending on the number of duly heavy athletes in each division.

* Time Competition shall be four (4) minutes in Male and Female, female, Golden Score with no time limit. Athletes cadets can participate in the junior categories and require no re-weighed.


9. TECHNICAL MEETING

The technical meeting will be held on Thursday March 31. (See program)

10. ARBITRATION

The event will take place in accordance with the current regulations of the International Judo Federation (IJF) adopted by the Pan American Judo Confederation (CPJ). The use of blue and white judogi is mandatory, without exception, with regulatory measures.

Special Arbitration Rules Cadet:

• Applying kansetsu-waza is allowed and must continue to Maitta, striking twice or athlete is incapacitated by the effect of kansetsu-waza.

• Application of shime waza is allowed. An athlete who has lost consciousness due to shime waza is not allowed to continue the competition.

11. COACH

All coaches must comply fully with the Code of Conduct for Coaches Judo. Dress Code: suit and tie.

Elimination rounds: national track suit with long pants to shoes or suit with tie.

End block: jacket suit with tie.

12. TRANSPORTATION

The Organizing Committee will provide the participating countries, transportations from International Airport Jose Francisco Pena Gomez to hotel and hotel to the National House of Judo, Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center and vice versa.

13. ACCOMODATIONS

The two options are per person per night and include accommodation, meals (breakfast , lunch and dinner ) , transportation from airport to hotel round trip from the hotel to the competition venue and return. Cash payments are in US dollar bills . We accept bank transfers and payment upon arrival provided you have Reservation . To optimize your accommodation and stay it is important to send us the number of athletes and delegation members before the day February 25, 2016 .


The Dominican Judo Federation assumes no responsibility for the availability of accommodation and food in case of failure to meet deadlines for registration and booking. Countries that do not accept the accommodation options offered by the organizing committee, we will not provide transportation or food during their stay in the country and must pay a deposit of $ 300.00 per person for the right to participation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: According to the new standard promulgated IJF December 2, 2012 in Tokyo "... the Organization requesting country should not pay penalties for countries that can not make bank transfers, but can be paid in cash upon arrival. Furthermore, they must inform the host country well in advance and specify the number of participants before the deadline. "

Possible reserves extra room on the "check-in" will also be overloaded with 10%. NO exceptions will be made. All bank fees and bank transfer costs are paid by the participating federations.v Cancellation fees: After March 20 Room cancellation or "no-show" will result in 100% charge of hotel costs. Room cancellations can not be made in the "check -in".

IMPORTANT: Any damage to the property of the hotels or places that are of stay of a national delegation shall be borne by the federation and paid in full.

14. EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE:

The Organizing Committee will provide Medical Service of Emergency to all the participants officially enrolled by their National Federation.

In case of being necessary any extraordinary medical attention as injury and / or illness requiring hospitalization, treatment, surgery and medication, costs shall be assumed by the National Federation the competitor represents. Therefore, all participating Federations exempt from liability to the CPJ, the Dominican Judo Federation and the Organizing Committee for any mishap happened during training and competition.

It is emphasized and they are requested special attention to all delegations on each National Federation is responsible for its competitors (as). Sex control is the responsibility of each National Federation, and must assume all responsibility for accident and health insurance as well as the civil liabilities for their competitors and officials. The Pan American Judo Confederation, the Dominican Judo Federation and the Organizing Committee of the Caribbean Judo Championships will not be responsible for any claims, injuries or death.

15. ANTHEMS AND FLAGS

Each National Federation shall provide the moment of arrival and accreditation, the flag of your country (1.20 x 1.80 m) and a CD with the national anthem of your country. (Short version).

16. VISAS

The Organizing Committee is pleased to help any country with the instructions of visas or other documentation permit athletes and officials. If you need a personalized invitation letter for visa purposes please send to the Organizing Committee as soon as possible a list of the participants according to the visa application form with names, passport number, date of birth and positions (must send along with scanned copies of passports.)
