Any changes to this agreement must be done so in writing or they will be null and void. Annie’s Pet Sit has the right to make any changes to this agreement at will and without notice.

With any changes, a new agreement will be presented before any new services are rendered.

Policies and Procedures

Annie’s Pet Sit Copy

The client agrees to the following:

1. Liability Policies:

Annie’s Pet Sit and its employees agree to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Annie’s Pet Sit or its employees, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of Annie’s Pet Sit. Client agrees to notify Annie’s Pet Sit of any concerns within 24 hours of returning home.

Annie’s Pet Sit cannot be responsible for pets that bite, suffer an accidental death or escape from faulty fencing or from inside the home due to faulty screens, doors, etc.

Annie’s Pet Sit cannot be responsible for any complications pets may suffer or actions of pets while they are unattended.

Annie’s Pet Sit or its employees shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any pet that the client has let outside or has instructed Annie’s Pet Sit to allow outside while sitter is not there. This includes pets with doggie doors and outdoor pets.

The client understands that all pets (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must be up to date on their vaccinations. Client agrees to reimburse Annie’s Pet Sit for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care and lost wages) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to pet(s).

All pets with electronic fences must wear their collars with fresh batteries. Annie’s Pet Sit is not responsible for any animals that get out or inside of perimeter.

Annie’s Pet Sit will not sit for acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical conditions. We suggest the pet be boarded with a vet.

Annie’s Pet Sit does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, lawyer’s fees, etc) if client’s pet should bite another person or animal.

Annie’s Pet Sit will not walk unruly or untrained dogs or dogs that choke themselves on their leash. All pets must be able to be walked on a leash, no exceptions.

Annie’s Pet Sit does not diagnose, or make therapy decisions, nor does it offer veterinary services. Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.

Client authorizes Annie’s Pet Sit to obtain the services of a locksmith should a key/garage opener malfunction. Client is responsible for all charges.

Client is responsible for making arrangements for snow removal. Visits may not be made in snow covered driveways and/or walkways because of safety concerns.

Job sharing is not covered under our insurance. We cannot be responsible for your pet or home if another service provider enters your property while we are not there.

2. Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, notice must be received not less than 1 week before scheduled visit or a cancellation fee will apply. Cancellation fee applied will be the 25% deposit of the full cost of the service. Annie’s Pet Sit reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

3. Business Hours For Dog Walking: Business and visiting hours fall between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. Services are usually completed during this time unless we are behind schedule. Annie’s Pet Sit will not accept time specific calls as we cannot guarantee specific times accurately. A three hour window is acceptable.

4. Business Hours For Doggy Club: Business hours fall between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Any dog not uplifted by 6 p.m. will incur an extra charge of £2 for up to every 30 minutes over 6pm.

5. Business Hours for Dog Boarding: Business hours fall between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m Monday to Friday and between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Any dog uplifted out with those hours will be charged another full days’ boarding fee unless arrangements have been previously agreed.

6. Emergencies:

Client agrees to authorize Annie’s Pet Sit to handle any emergencies that may arise. Annie’s Pet Sit will make every effort to contact client, however client gives Annie’s Pet Sit authority to act in the pet’s best interest and be available at an hourly rate of £15.

Annie’s Pet Sit requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your pet(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster. It is best your emergency contact is a neighbour so they can reach your home. Annie’s Pet Sit is not responsible for pets in these circumstances.

7. Payment Arrangement:

Monthly paying clients are expected to pay on (or before) the last working day of each month. In the event of late payment anadditional daily late charge of £10 will be applied until payment is received.

Dog Boarding clients are expected to pay before services start unless agreed with Annie’s Pet Sit
