Summary:

Cancellation date and ‘Cancelled’ payment status are not populating in Find Payments results list when the cancellation occurs as a product cancellation (cancel event registrant, cancel membership dues) as opposed to cancelling at the invoice level.

Tested in:

KCASHIN live – can recreate

Also tested with and without cancellation fee.

Also tested on different payment methods

Steps to Reproduce:

In KCASHIN Live iweb canceled Event registration

Go to individual Customer #:1 Krystal Cashin

Click on the “Activities” tab

Expand on Event Registrations

To the left of event named “Member only Group reg with Ind rates”, click on the right facing arrow.

In the next screen, click “Cancel Registration”

This screen confirms that the event registration has been cancelled.


Now, go to Accounting Module > Financials > Find Payments

·  Enter search parameters:

o  Customer: Cashin

o  Payment Date: 02/06/2017

·  Select Go

·  In the search results note the Payment Status and the Cancel Date are blank

·  Select the green go to record arrow next to the result

·  The payment Information screen shows no cancel date, the Void Payment is showing as an option.

·  The payment screen shows the cancel aid credit

·  Select the green go to record arrow next to the invoice number in the Payment Invoice & Transaction details child form

·  The Invoice shows the payment cancelation date on 02/16/2017

Expected result:

Canceling an event registration should update the payment status and cancelation date on the payment information page

Workaround:

Whenever possible (all purchased items on the invoice are to be canceled) cancel the invoice.
