Charges not covered by the NHS

Most services provided to you as a patient are free and covered by the money the National Health Service pay to the Practice.

We are, however asked to undertake duties that are not covered by the NHS – for example, a report for an insurance company/solicitor or confirmation that you are fit to travel. This is charged either to you or the company who has requested the information. We aim to deal with all requests within 2 weeks of the date they are received.

We will always advise you of the charge before you confirm that you want the work to be done and may take payment at the time the request is made.
