2014 VOLUNTEER CLUB OF THE YEAR

Background

With the introduction of the Judge Fining System, GWA has received consistent feedback from clubs asking for a Club Reward System to help ensure that clubs are rewarded for meeting, or going beyond requirements.

The new Club Reward System will work alongside the existing Judge Fining System. Below are the details of the newly introduced award system.

Award Outline

Clubs will receive points for providing Floor Managers, Scorers and Judges at events. The Volunteer Club of the Year Award will be awarded to the club with the most points over the calendar year. The award will be presented at the GWA Awards Night.

Point Allocation

Points will be awarded at all Class 2 and 3 events

• 1 point / session awarded to the club for every floor manager and/or scorer provided as per volunteer sign-in sheet

• 1 point / session awarded for meeting Judge Requirements as per judge panel sign-in sheet

• 1 point / event awarded for exceeding Judge Requirements on nomination form

Point Reward System
A points table has been maintained by GWA for all clubs entering Class 2 & 3 events. The allocation of points will be determined by GWA and no correspondence will be entered into.

The rewards will be in place for the following year.
