General Description
The Recruitment Advisor is a sales role and is responsible for recruiting students from CAPA’s leads to apply for CAPA programs worldwide. This position will report to the Director of Enrollment and Advising Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit students who have expressed interest in attending a CAPA program by making phone calls and sending e-mail messages in congruence with our strategic communication plan.
- Provide guidance and advice to students on program selection and answer program-specific, country-specific and other questions, such as those regarding credit transfer, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Meet daily phone call and outreach targets.
- Meet individual and team student enrollment targets.
- Provide a high level of customer service support to students by helping them prepare for their time abroad.
- Maintain student leads in Salesforce/CRM database, tracking all communications through it.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
Required
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a constant willingness to lend a helping hand
- Exceptional phone etiquette, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, presentationand organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment across departments
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, racial and/or ethnic backgrounds
- Keen attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability
Preferred
- Experience working in a study abroad office
- Prior experience working with university students
- Driver’s license and comfort driving (some travel may be required during fall recruitment season)
Hours
This is a full-time, entry-level role. Standard hours are 9:00 – 5:30, Monday to Friday. Hours will shift during peak recruitment season.
