President (Boulder Office), First Western Trust Bank

As Market President, Mr. Roan is primarily involved in the day-to-day management, strategy, and business development of the Colorado Bank’s Boulder operations. He also is responsible for developing new depository and lending relationships. Mr. Roan areas of expertise include commercial lending, depository development, and working with entrepreneurs.

Prior to joining First Western, Mr. Roan was a vice president for JPMorgan and Co covering the Western U.S. working with Financial Institutions. In that capacity, Mr. Roan worked with banks less than $25 billion in assets, with funding, capital, and operational needs. Also at JPMorgan, Mr. Roan was a senior lender in the Boulder market working with commercial businesses and their owners, structuring debt for acquisition and working capital. Mr. Roan has also worked for US Bank and Bank of Hawaii.

Mr. Roan has a B.S. and MBA from Colorado State University.
