ANNUAL STATE OF THE CITY PROGRAM

MAYOR SCOTT SCHERTZER

The speaker will be our Mayor, The Honorable Scott Schertzer, a Ridgedale High School graduate, who earned his BA in Social Studies Education from the University of Toledo. Scott has 13 years of teaching experience in Marion County, worked in Ohio Secretary of State Sherrod Brown’s office, was employed by the Treasurer of the State of Ohio Mary Ellen Withrow, and is currently serving as our Mayor for the third term 2016-2019. He has been very involved in many Marion community organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the YMCA, Marion County Historical Society, Marion CANDO, and others. The Mayor will be speaking on “The State of The City”, looking back at highlights in 2015 and also what he has planned for 2016.

The invocation will be given by Rob Howardand Jason Price will greet you.
