Insurance
Students who wish to have their personal effects insured should make their own arrangements as the college insurance will not normally cover theft and loss.
Financial Support
16-19 Bursary Fund/Adult Learner Support Fund Information Sheets and application forms are available from Student Services oron the college website. If you already have approval for financial assistance please complete a Bursary Supplementary Form and return it to Student Services at least 2 weeks before the deadline date.Your request will be processed and you will be advised (by email) of your contributions towards the trip.
Students will be asked for a minimum contribution of £10 for any trip.Contribution will be determined by the benefits into your household but will not exceed £10 per day. You must pay the initial deposit and the remaining balance by the deadlines. In the unlikely event of your deposit being higher than your expected contribution, a refund will be given.
Illness
If your son/daughter becomes unwell the Trip Leader will inform you. Arrangements will then be made, in consultation with the Insurance and Travel Companies, to transport him/her home. You should make arrangements to meet your son/daughter on their return and you willbe responsible for the cost of all return transport which may be reclaimable from the Insurance Company.
If you have already informed us of any medical conditions there is no need to tell us again. If a medical condition has emerged since enrolment, please provide us with details.
