By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Parties to these terms and conditions
- (1) Icelolly Marketing Ltd, Park Row House, 19-20 Park Row, Leeds. LS1 5JF (Company number: 05655962) (“com” or “IL”);
- (2) Blackpool Pleasure Beach Ltd, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, England, FY4 1EZ (company number 1876267) (“BPB”); and
- (3) Entrants and Competition Winners (CW)
Introduction
- IL is to provide 6 separate holiday prizes (as are set out herein) for the ‘Summer 2017’ promotion at BPB and BPB shall permit entry to the Competition through its website.
Entry to Competition
Entry to the competition is made by completing and submitting the form found here: blackpoolpleasurebeach.com/enter.
Terms of the prize
- There is no cash equivalent.
- The CW must be over 18 years of age at the time of entry
- The CW agrees to sign the release form consenting to IL and/or BPB using photographs, quotes and other advertising and promotional materials containing the CW’s image, name or quotes relating to their winning the holiday prize.
- Only one entry per person will be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a CW is using a computer(s) to circumvent this term by, for example, the use of 'brute force', 'script' or any other automated means, that person/those e-mail addresses will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
- No person employed or engaged by either IL or BPB shall be permitted to enter the Competition.
Competition Winners
- CW’s are selected at random after the closing date for each holiday prizecompetition and will be notified by email and/or telephone within 14 days of closing date each holiday prize. If the holiday prize is not claimed within four weeks of notification, a redraw with take place.
- The CW shall be announced as soon as is practicable after each draw.
- BPB and IL‘s decision as to those eligible to enter the Competition and the selection of prize winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
Data Protection
- By providing an email address and entering this Competition CW’s agree to receive relevant email communications from BPB and IL including news, events, offers and competitions.
- Any personal data relating to CW’s will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third party not associated with either IL or BPB without the CW’s prior consent. Data relating to CW’s will be retained by BPB and IL for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist in dealing with any queries on the Competition.
Force Majeure:
Neither IL nor BPB shall be liable for any failure to fulfil or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these heads of agreement (or any subsequent agreement) where such delay or failure is due to act of God, earthquake or other natural disaster; civil commotion; riot; invasion, war or threat or preparation for war; explosion; biological disaster; fire; epidemic or pandemic; or nuclear disaster (each a "Force Majeure Event"), and the party so affected shall immediately notify the other in writing of the existence of the Force Majeure Event and of its anticipated duration and shall use its reasonable endeavours to overcome the impact of the Force Majeure Event on the affected party’s performance of its obligations under these heads of agreement (or any subsequent agreement).
Indemnity
IL shall fully and effectually indemnify BPB from and against all claims, demands, damages, and costs made by the CW and/or any associated party arising out of the Competition set out hereinand the holiday prizes thereunder.

The holiday prize for the CW consists of the following; return economy flights from a UK airport to Majorca, 7 nights, 4 star all-inclusive accommodation and return overseas transfers for two adults. Accommodation will be based on two adults sharing a twin or double room. Subject to availability and the below Other Terms and Conditions, the CW will be able to choose their departure airport.
If applicable, the holiday prize excludes;
- Any departure and/or arrival taxes.
- Local taxes.
- Ground transfers to and from the UK departure airport.
- Excursions, attractions, treatments and car hire.
- Travel insurance, spending money and any other personal expenses.
- Visas and vaccinations.
Other Terms and Conditions:
From the date of being awarded the holiday giveaway, the chosen holiday must be booked within three months and travel must be within a twelve month period or the prize will be withdrawn. IL reserves the right to specify the exact departure airport, resort and accommodation. It is the responsibility of the CW to ensure that they and their party have valid passports, travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for the holiday.
The holiday prize excludes departures from the 22nd July 2017 to 31st August 2017, 18th December 2017 to 1st January 2018, 23rd March 2018 to 6th April 2018 and the 20th July 2018 to the 31st August 2018.
The CW must be a UK resident and aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
Once the booking has been confirmed, any alteration to the booking will incur administrative charges, payable by the CW.
All elements of the holiday prize are subject to availability, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
