1)To explore, describe and gain a deeper understanding of how young people and professionals working with youth believe that pornography and sexualised media messages influence sexual practices and relationships, and also how well equipped professionals consider themselves in their work with young people’s sexual health and gender equality (already completed)
2)To examine differences in sexual behaviour, lifestyle, quality of life, self-reported health and attitudes to gender equality between young women and men and between groups with different pornography consumption patterns (planned)
3)To create and evaluate a sexuality- and relationships education program, aiming at preparing teachers, school health personnel and personnel at youth centres for their task to inform, educate and counsel young people regarding pornography and sexualised media(planned)
Methods: 1) Focus group discussions with a) young women and men separately, and b) teachers, school health personnel and personnel at youth centres, analysed with grounded theory.
2) Cross sectional survey among high school students
