Q4 RESEARCH TOPIC CRITERIA BELOW! POWER POINT DIRECTIONS ALSO HERE!!

The topic for this quarter falls under these following categories

Holistic medicine

a form of healing that considers the whole person -- body, mind, spirit, and emotions -- in the quest for optimal health and wellness

Alternative medicine

A variety of therapeutic or preventive health-care practices that are not typically taught or practiced in traditional medical communities and offer treatments that differ from standard medical practice. Homeopathy, herbal medicine, and acupuncture are types of alternative medicine.

Naturopathic medicine

(sometimes called "naturopathy") is a distinct system of primary health care that emphasizes prevention and the self-healing process through the use of natural therapies.

A list of these treatments is on the assignment page. There are plenty of topics to choose from so none can be duplicated. Always check the list in class and also on the web page (I will indicate those that are taken). My suggestion is to look some of these up if you do not know what they mean and find one that is interesting to you.
